Marksx Media is proud to announce the comedy Ricky Stanicky will commence filming in Melbourne on February 6th 2023. Oscar winner Peter Farrelly is attached as director, with Zac Efron and John Cena, attached with the latter playing the title role. Peter Farrelly is known for his Best Picture Oscar winner Green Book.
Ricky Stanicky will be in the spirit of the raucous comedies Peter Farrelly made with brother Bobby, in Kingpin, There’s Something About Mary, Me, Myself and I and Dumb and Dumber.
Paul Currie, Jeff Bushell and John Jacobs are attached as Producers. Domenic Benvenuto and Gianni Benvenuto are Executive Producers. The movie is due for release on Amazon Prime in Q3 of 2024.
