Marksx Media is pleased to announce that Ricky Stanicky is scheduled to be released by Amazon MGM Studios through its streaming service Prime Video on March 7, 2024.
The MA-rated comedy trailer went viral on all social media platforms having after its seventh day of release amassed 47,000,000+ views and has outperformed all benchmark competitors across both trailer views and social mentions.
The film is directed by Academy award-winning director Peter Farrelly (Green Book, There’s Something About Mary, Shallow Hal, Me Myself & Irene, Dumb & Dumber) and stars Zac Efron, John Cena, Jermaine Fowler, Andrew Santino, Lex Scott Davis and William H. Macy.
Filming commenced in February and March of 2023 and took place in Melbourne doubling for Providence, Rhode Island. The production was led by Marksx Media partners Paul Currie as Producer, Domenic Benvenuto and Gianni Benvenuto as Executive Producers.
